My family was in a difficult situation before my father started cultivating our own land. When he was still a farmworker, he goes out to work at 4 AM and comes back home at 6 PM.

KAISAHAN's interventions really improved me as an individual. I didn't know how to talk with DAR and other government officials before.

I always knew that my father acquired a land under CARP, but we remained tenant farmers for many years because we were never installed until last June 2016.

We were really confused when we first heard about us being agrarian reform beneficiaries. Through word of mouth, we got the news that the 4-hectare land was awarded to us by CARP.
